Janet used to pick me up for school in the smallest car I have ever ridden in...a Sunbeam! How appropriate that she drove a car that fit her physically as well as her personality. I remember double dating on prom night, lunch on the run and lots of laughs. I remember well the day she told me she was going to be a mother. She was so tiny that before Scott was born, it seemed she was as big around as she was tall! We lost touch after our children were born and only reconnected a few months ago through FaceBook. I was in Louisville recently and we had hoped to see each other but she confided that her treatments left her with little energy. I am sorry that it took so long to make plans for another lunch. I was looking forward to laughing with her again after all these years. We had some great times and fun like you can't imagine. My sincere sympathies to you and your families.

Janet was such a special friend. We had lost touch for a bit and just recently had found each other again. I will forever remember that giggle of hers. She will always hold a special place in my heart. She will be missed.

Allan, Scott and Tonya, even though I haven't gotten to see you all much in recent times, Janet was thought of very often and will always be very close to me in heart and in spirit. I am in total shock about her passing. I fell guilty that I did not know her condition to where I might could have seen her. I will always love her. Love, Diane

I met Janet many years ago and we became friends instantly. We even had the chance to work together for a few months. She never failed to make me laugh and I will miss her!
Remembering with you...
the life of someone so dear.

Allan and Scott, we are so very sorry for your loss. Janet was also our loss, although I haven't been as close for years, I have a lot of great memories as kids growing up close to one another. I am sorry we can not be there with you, but we are thinking of you.
