MESSINA, JOSEPH, 89, passed away at Baptist East Hospital on Sunday, April 15, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Jo Breslin; parents, Vito and Mary; and siblings, Phil Messina, Antoinette Warden, and Grace Buey.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Rose; sons, Larry Messina (Teresa) and Paul Messina (Kelly); grandchildren, Michelle Hawkins (Pat), Missy Fromme (Bobby), Mindy Howell (Ethan), Jim Breslin (Farrah Dicken), Meredith Breslin, Lauren Breslin, Kristina Messina, and Mark Messina; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on April 25, 2012 at the Church of the Ascension of our Lord.
