Obituary Condolences

LUTES, KENNETH RAY, 86, of Mt. Washington, KY, passed away Monday, May 16, 2011 at the Masonic Home.

Kenneth was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company, an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict, a member of Salt River Masonic Lodge #180, Mt. Washington Senior Citizens and First Baptist Church of Mt. Washington.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Dooley Lutes; siblings, Beatrice Potter, Mildred Arnett, Mary Ada Hurst, Neva Ward, W.A., Larry and Coolidge Lutes.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Bowen Lutes; stepchildren, Karen Brown, Rodney, Gary and Charles Borland; one brother, Ralph Lutes; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 10 a.m. Thursday.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Masonic Home or Kosair Charities.
