SULLIVAN, LAWRENCE A. SR. "AL" "LARRY," 84, of Louisville, KY, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 27, 2013.

He was born in Dayton, OH on October 15, 1928 to Harry F. and Lillie Mae (Porter) Sullivan, both deceased.

He was retired from the U. S. Postal Service, served in the U.S. Navy in the Korean War. He was a former member of the VFW Post 1683, American Legion Post 28, both of New Albany, and former Kyana Antique Automobile Club, Louisville.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Diane Sullivan, Donna Manley (Mike), Larry Sullivan, Jr. (Kim), David Sullivan, and Colleen Barrick (Bobby). He had six grandchildren, Alyse, Caitlin, and Shannon Sullivan; Shawna Sullivan; Tyler and Kelsey Barrick. His two brothers, Harry and Herbert, and his baby sister whom he loved dearly, Emma Robinson.

Dad loved Indiana basketball, Nascar, reading, traveling, and old cars, but most of all he loved spending time with his family, sometimes never saying a word, just being with us was enough for him. Going to miss those drive by's! Visitation is 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Keenan's Funeral Home, 4724 Dixie Highway at Rockford Lane. His memorial celebration with Fr. Jeff Schooner presiding will be at Keenan's Funeral Home on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. with burial immediately following at Resthaven Cemetery on Bardstown Road in Soldier's Circle. Memorial gifts can be made to St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
