BROWN, LEONILDA "NELL" KLUESNER, 86, of Louisville, passed away peacefully Sunday February 9, 2014.
Born to Charles H. Kluesner and Lorena (Domeck) Kluesner April 24, 1927. Nell was a member of KYANA Antique Auto Club, graduated from Ursuline High School in 1944 and was formally a member of St. George Catholic Church.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 52 years, Robert L. 'Bob' Brown, Sr.; infant son, Jude Thaddeus; and brother, Winfred B. Kluesner.
She is survived by her sons, Robert L., Jr, Paul R., II, Joseph A., II and John B., II (Marcia); her daughters, Leonilda K. Jamison (Randy) and NaomiRose L. Paulin (Curtis) and a dear friend, Donna Campbell; her grandchildren, Josie Powell, Andrew, McCauley and Alexander Paulin, Lacie Buchter, Austin Beavers, Jordan, Chase, Jonathan, Madison, Paige and Bryce Brown; great-grandson, Kayden Brown; and sisters, Carolyn Ising and Charleen Schweinhart.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road. The funeral service will be 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, followed by a celebration of Nell's life at St. Louis Bertrand - O'Brien Hall.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be in memory of Leonilda 'Nell' Brown to Ursuline Sisters or Hosparus.
