WINTER, LORETTA "BOOTS," 86, passed away Friday, July 12, 2013 at The Richwood in LaGrange, KY.

She was a founding member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church, where she also was a member of the Golden Key Club and served on the Social Concerns Committee.
Preceding her in death were her husband Charlie Winter and daughter-in-law, Tina Winter.
Survivors include two brothers and her children, A. J. and J. Vernon McLaughlin, Jan Winter, Judy Zube and Jack Winter; her grandchildren, Eric (Nicole) and Ryan Winter, Nick and Alli Zube, and Mae and Matt (Robyn) Marks; and great-granddaughter, Ayla Charlie.
The funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Barnabas Church, 3042 Hikes Lane, with burial following in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road.

Boots was a very proud graduate of Mercy Academy and a woman of strong faith. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed playing cards and being with friends. Her volunteer work was very important to her. She will be greatly missed and remembered with much love. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to everyone who was a part of Boots' life.
