MILLER, MARGARET FACKLER, 79, beloved wife of the late Robert C. Miller, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her family on March 7 after a valiant battle with Alzheimer's disease.

She was born May 21, 1934 in Brandenburg KY, the daughter of the late Herbert and Viola Fackler. Margaret was a kind, gentle woman full of joy. She welcomed everyone with smiles, hugs, and kind words. Her home was always filled with family, friends, and neighborhood children all of whom she would cheerfully invite to the table to break bread. A woman of strong faith, her Catholic religion was very important to her as were her rosary beads, which were always close by. Margaret and Bob retired from their family business, Miller's Fancy Bath and Kitchen, and enjoyed many happy active years in Ft. Myers. She was adored and cherished as Nana to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves a legacy of love, faith in God, a strong work ethic, and gratitude for each day.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Rick Miller (Jeana), Caron Melillo (Bill), Diana Neal (Scott), Fred Miller (Yvette), Pam Janes (Scott), and Craig Miller (Tamera); 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Loreda Pike (Aloysiys), and Theresa Mattingly (Harold); brothers, Joe (Bonnie), and Bernard (Doreen) Fackler; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond (Zula) and James Fackler.

Her funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church 7813 Shelbyville Rd., with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-7 p.m. on Monday at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Rd. "in St. Matthews" In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
