ARMSTRONG, NATHANIEL THOMPSON "N.T., " 81, of Louisville, passed away Friday May 11, 2012.

Mr. Armstrong was a native of Georgetown, KY, a 1952 graduate of Georgetown College and also a graduate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was a retired employee of the Ashland Oil Petroleum Company and a co-land developer of Old Armstrong Place subdivision in Georgetown.
N.T. was a long time active member of Broadway Baptist Church where he served as a Sunday School Teacher, Church Moderator, a member of the Board of Deacons, Board of Trustees and various other committees. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wellington Walker and Frances Johnson Armstrong.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 59 years, Bettie Lancaster Armstrong; children, Nat Armstrong and Jennie Beth Armstrong McDonald; grandchildren, Brittany Mary Armstrong and Katherine Frances McDonald; sister-in-law, Mary Louise Ostrander; nieces and nephews, Charlyne, Star, Chuck, Robbie and Lucy and numerous great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service to honor N.T. will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Broadway Baptist Church, 4000 Brownsboro Road with interment to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3-8 p.m. Monday in the parlor of Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave.
In lieu of customary expressions of sympathy the family would like to request that memorial donations in N.T.'s name be directed to Broadway Baptist Church.
