HILL, ROBERT MICHAEL, 45, of Hamilton, OH, formerly of Louisville, died unexpectedly as the result of a motorcycle accident on I-75 in Cincinnati, OH on Saturday, September 15, 2012.

His wife, Medowe Dale Hill, 44, also passed away in the accident. Rob was a devoted husband, father of two beautiful daughters (Stephanie, 24 and Lauren, 21) and the grandfather of a two-year-old boy (Noah). Both Rob and Medowe had a passion for life. They loved God, their family, and had a powerful impact on the many lives that they touched. Rob and Medowe truly enjoyed riding his Harley together and making frequent hiking and camping trips with their best friends John and Patti Hall. They particularly loved their trips to Red River Gorge.

Rob was a devoted husband, a wonderful father and grandfather, a loving son and brother and a friend to all who knew him.

Rob was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving as an M.P. It is in this capacity that he met his future wife Medowe, who was also serving her country as an M.P. After leaving the military, Rob began his career with the Ford Motor Company, working there for 23 years, earning a master's degree in business and being promoted to the position of materials handler executive, working at the Sharonville, OH plant at the time of his death.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Ms. Jan Hill; his sister, Sherry Sims, and his nephew, Brandon Schildknecht.

He is survived by daughters, Stephanie and Lauren; his grandson Noah; his parents, Bob and Glenda Hill; his sisters, Martie Veverka (Ken), Cindy Aberli (David), Deana Nash (Bob), Sandy Hack (David) and Rhonda Culver (Allen); several nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.

Joint funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Pearson Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road. Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Thursday and after 11 a.m. on Friday until service time at the funeral home.
