MILLER, ROSEMARY MERSHON, 88, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2013, at Nazareth Home. A Louisville native, she graduated from Holy Cross in 1938, Presentation Academy in 1942 and attended Ursuline College. During her senior year at Presentation she was President of the Catholic Students Mission Crusade. She was a member of the Queen's Daughters and Our Lady of Lourdes Altar Society.
Rosemary was a breast cancer survivor. Rosemary and her late husband, Jim ran the family owned Miller Transfer and Storage Company and Miller Photography.
She is survived by daughters, Donna Crutcher (Ray) and Kathleen Hawkins (Jay); grandchildren, Billy Crutcher (Shannon), Stephanie Crutcher, Kristina Wheaton (Andrew), and JJ Hawkins; and great-grandchildren, Caroline Crutcher, Jodie Crutcher and Callie Crutcher.
Rosemary donated her body to the UofL School of Medicine Bequeathal program. A memorial Mass will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, where Rosemary was a charter member.
