BEYL, STANLEY D., 76, of Louisville, joined many of his brothers in heaven on Tuesday, February 26, 2013.

He was born in Clark County, IN, the son of the late Roscoe and Lillian (Amos) Beyl and worked at Kentucky Lithographing Company for over 30 years.
Stanley attended and played basketball at Silver Creek High School and received a full scholarship to Memphis State. He played ball for the Rinky Dinks, was an avid Uof L fan and enjoyed Fun Friday. He was a member of Middletown Christian Church and Team 12.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by Ervin, Donald, Norman, Lester, Ben, Bob and Melvin Beyl.
For 56 years, Stan was the loving husband of Shirley (Pruitt) Beyl, amazing father of Tammy Callahan (Tim) and Missy Barry (Tim), also Vanessa Williams and Irene Wolff, who were like daughters to him. Besides his wife and daughters, he is survived by his grandchildren, Emily Thulier, Devin Thulier, Katelyn Callahan, Maggie Callahan, Ryan Barry, and Kevin Barry and his brother, William Beyl (Jo) and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to sincerely thank all of the staff at Episcopal Church Home and Norton Brownsboro ICU. Words cannot express our gratitude.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Ratterman's, 12900 Shelbyville Road, East Louisville followed by burial at Middletown Cemetery. Visitation will be 11a.m.-8 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. until time of service on Friday at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be sent to JDRF in hope for a cure.
