ASHBAUGH, STEPHEN PAUL, 66, of Louisville, entered eternal life Sunday, December 8, 2013 at his residence.

He was a Maintenance Supervisor for Metro Parks Department of Louisville, KY, member of the Bluegrass Beagle Club; he was a proud member of US Armed Forces, Company C 18th Engineer Battalion Group, and a member of Shepherdsville Wesleyan Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Sr., and LaVerne Ratliff Ashbaugh; brothers, Anthony and Gale Ashbaugh; and sister, Lana Decker.

Mr. Ashbaugh leaves those to cherish his memory a wife, Robin Downs Ashbaugh; daughters, Stephanie Tingle (Ernie) and Toby Ashbaugh; son, Brian Ashbaugh; grandchildren, Michael and Codi; brothers, John (Brenda), Junie (Barbara), Tom (Robin), Joe (Roberta), Terry (Becky) and Fonda (Karen) Ashbaugh; and sister, Connie Riggs.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Hardy-Close Funeral Home with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, and after 9 a.m. Friday until time of Service.
