COLLINS, THEODORA L., 44, died in Louisville on Monday, March 25, after a short illness.
The Guest Book is expired.
She was the daughter of Rebecca M. Dant of St. Helena , CA and Barret H. Collins of Louisville. A vibrant, free-spirited woman, Theodora loved to travel by train and lived in several cities out west in the US and Spain.
She loved being active, skiing in Aspen, Telluride and Taos and working tirelessly, behind the scenes at regional theaters including the Palm Springs Follies, the Santa Fe Opera, The Armory for the Arts in Santa Fe and the Alley Theater of Louisville. To relax, she read voraciously and was, by reputation, impossible to beat at Trivial Pursuit. Delightfully outgoing, Theodora leaves behind many dear friends who will remember her lovingly, along with her parents and aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral service will be Thursday at noon at Cave Hill Cemetery. Friends should meet at Broadway entrance at 11:45 a.m., with reception following. Pearson's, 149 Breckenridge Lane, is entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers please offer expressions of sympathy in the form of a donation to the
or put memories on her Facebook page.
