KRAHWINKEL, CHARLES MARTIN, 89, passed away on October 15, 2013.

Charles was a World War II veteran, and received a Purple Heart and Bronze Star, while serving in the Army.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Krahwinkel. Charles is survived by his daughter, Charlotte Amante (Charles) of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Neva Moffett, and Eva Krahwinkel, both of Lawrenceville, GA; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service to honor the life of Charles will be held noon Sunday at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be noon-8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
