EPPINGER, MARY JANE, 95, of Louisville, passed away Friday, January 31, 2014 at the Mercy Sacred Heart Home.

She was born in Louisville, daughter of the late Sylvester and Florence Heitzman Stengel. She was a retired secretary for Brown Williamson, member of Queens Daughters, Bellarmine Women's Club, and was a volunteer at the Mercy Sacred Heart Home for over 31 years.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Louis F. Eppinger, Jr; sister, Doris Morguelan; brother, James Stengel; nephew, Steven Morguelan; and great nephew, Matthew Meriwether.
She is survived by her nieces, Connie Meriwether (Lee), Kathy Kaelin (Tom), Barbara Morguelan; great-nieces and nephews, Brittney Ann and Amanda Nicole Morguelan, Jennifer, Tommy and Christopher Kaelin and many cousins and friends.
Her funeral Mass will be 4p.m. Monday at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road "in St. Matthews." Visitation will start at 1p.m. until time of service.
The family would like to thank the staff at Mercy Sacred Heart Home for the loving care given to their aunt. Memorial contributions in Mary Jane's memory may be made to Mercy Sacred Heart Home.
