William Mason McDonald

McDONALD, WILLIAM MASON, 65, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday , February 5, 2014.

He was the eldest son born to Benjamin F. and Alice Robertson McDonald of Harrod's Creek, KY, on August 19, 1948.

Bill was a graduate of Westport High School, class of 1966, attended Western Kentucky University. He was a U.S. Army veteran and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He was a retired instructor of the original RETS Electronic School.

Bill was preceded in death by his father, Benjamin F. McDonald.

Survivors include his mother, Alice R. McDonald; brother, Ben F. McDonald (Jane Deutsch); and girlfriend, Debbie Denton.

A celebration of life will be conducted on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 5 p.m. in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home at Westport Village 7410 Westport Road. Visitation will be 2-4:30 p.m. Sunday.

Expressions of sympathy can be made through donations to the Wounded Warriors Project in Bill's name.
