RATTERMAN, ROSE MARIE MEYER, 93, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 16, 2014.

Rosie was involved with several organizations and most active with Queens Daughters, the Auxillary of Little Sisters of the Poor and previously with the altar society of St. Raphael.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Oscar S. Ratterman Sr., in 1988; parents, Charles J. and Alma Paul Meyer; brothers, Charles J. Jr., and Paul F. Meyer; and sister, Alma Schmitt.

Those left to cherish her memory and beautiful ways are many and include her stepsons, Oscar "Skip" (Shirley) and Philip A. Ratterman; sisters, Jane Amshoff, Sr. Eileen Mary Meyer, SCN, Anna Catherine Meyer and Imelda Kargl (Tom); grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated 1 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2014 at St. Raphael Catholic Church; 2141 Lancashire Avenue with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, first from 1 - 2 p.m. at Nazareth Home 2000 Newburg Road and then from 4 - 8 p.m. at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to either Queen's Daughters' or Sisters of Charity of Nazareth in her honor.
