VIZE, CHARLES LEROY, 77, of Louisville, passed away February 23, 2014 at Heartland of Louisville.

He was born June 6, 1936 in Springfield Kentucky to the late John and Aileen Carrico Vize. He was a master craftsman, involved with the Camp Taylor Fire Department, US Army veteran and a super granddad.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joyce Spalding Vize; two children, Linda Vize Bayens (Mark) and James Leroy Vize (Cindy); a son-in-law, Phillip Thomas; three grandchildren, Jeremy "Pumpkin" Thomas (Ashley), Brandon "Peanut" Vize and Amanda "Doodles" Vize; and a sister, Rhudel Mudd.

He is preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Thomas; and other brothers and sisters.

Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 12 Noon in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with a private entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 2-8 p.m.
