PEAK, EDWARD J. "EDDIE," died on Sunday, March 9 , 2014 at the Sacred Heart Home. Eddie was born in Louisville on April 4, 1930, the son of Stanley and Mable Peak.

He retired from Hillerich and Bradsby, where he specialized in hand finished golf clubs. Numerous celebrities, both in the sports and entertainment fields, visited the plant over the years and requested that he work on their clubs.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dorothy; his sister, Pauline Gorman; and brother, Paul and Bill Peak.

He is survived by his stepson, Gary Age (Sandy); brothers, Donald (Alice) and Michael (Jane); his sisters-in-law, Doris and Mildred Peak; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express special thanks to the staff of Sacred Heart Home for their kindness and gentleness in caring for Eddie. A funeral Mass will be at Noon on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, 639 South Shelby Street with burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison at Barret Avenues.
