SUMMITT, MARY LOUISE, 89, of Cox's Creek, KY, passed away Monday, March 10, 2014.

She was a retired dietary supervisor for Highland Baptist Hospital, past President of American Legion Post 193, and a member of Kings Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Oscar Summitt; a son, Charles Edward Summitt; and two grandsons, Stephen and Stephen.

Louise is survived by four daughters, Joyce Fox (George), Peggy Lloyd (Harold), Barbara Summitt (Bernie), and Patsy Wheeler (Don); three sons, Paul (Minnie), Billy, and Michael Summitt; and a daughter-in-law, Debbie Summitt; four sisters, Doris Evans, Anna Daddario, Shirley Prentice, and Rose Zanchi; along with 30 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Life will be 10 a.m. Friday at McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday.
