WHITE, JACK CLINTON, 73, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 with family at his side.
Jack worked as a CPA in Louisville for almost 40 years and was always available to help family and friends with taxes and financial questions.
He served in the Army National Guard for six years as a sergeant in the artillery. He was a member of Harvey Browne Presbyterian Church. Jack was an avid basketball fan and enjoyed fishing, skeet shooting, music, reading, and history, but his greatest joy was playing with his three grandsons.
Jack was a kind, gentle, honest, hard-working man of great integrity, who was very devoted to his family.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 50 years, Joyce White; two sons, David White, MD (Michelle) and Kevin White, MD (Beth); grandsons, Jackson, Peter and Henry White; and brother, Bruce White.
Visitation will be at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, from 2-7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2014, followed by a memorial service. Private burial will be in Cave Hill at a later date.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Kosair Children's Hospital.
