HARDY, JAMES RAY, 87, of Shepherdsville, passed away at his home Tuesday, March 25, 2014.

He was a Navy Veteran, a member of Bullitt Lodge #155 F&AM, oldest continuous Real Estate License in Bullitt County, a member of First Baptist Church of Shepherdsville, the past president of KY State Hardware Association and retired owner and operator of the old Henderson Hardy Furniture Store.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Ella Hardy; and his sister, Eloise Harned.

Jimmy is survived by his loving wife, Frances Hardy of 66 years; his son, Samuel Hardy of Shepherdsville; aunt, Lounetta Williams of Shepherdsville; sister-in-law, Norma Weller; along with many nieces and nephews.

Private family funeral was held Friday at Maraman Billings Funeral Home in Shepherdsville with burial in Hebron Cemetery.
