Dr.  Clyde Thomas Moore Obituary
MOORE, DR. CLYDE THOMAS, 91, of Louisville passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014 at his home in Greenville, KY.

He was born April 18, 1922. He was a family practice physician in Fern Creek for 46 years, former president of the Baptist Hospital Medical Staff, long-time team physician for the old Louisville Colonels baseball team and two term chairman of the Jefferson County Board of Education. He was a graduate of Fern Creek High School and University of Louisville Medical School and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Bremen, KY. He was formerly a member of Beulah Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder and also a former member of Anchorage Presbyterian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl C. and Marion C. Moore; first wife, Marie K. Moore; and son, Charles T. Moore.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Nicholls Moore; children, Dr. John David Moore (Sonnie) and Deborah Sue Cook (Don); daughter-in-law, Meetzee Moore; and grandchildren, Kristi Cook, Tyler Moore, Cassidy Cook and Karsen Moore.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 2:00pm at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road. Burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday, March 31, 2014 from 2:00-7:00 pm at the funeral home.
