RICHARDSON, WANDA JUNE (TURNER), 67, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.

She was born January 26, 1947 in Monticello, KY. She grew up in Battletown, KY and moved to Louisville in 1964 where she met the love of her life, Jimmy, and would have celebrated 50 years of marriage in September.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William Marion and Minnie Threet Turner, 10 brothers and sisters and her daughter, Sandra Richardson Smith.

Those who knew her, loved her. She was a sweet, lovable, country girl. Quilting was her favorite past time, and she loved to read and garden.

She will be missed by all, especially her loving husband, James E. Richardson; daughters, Diana Stapp (Mike), Sharon Hand (Rick); seven grandchildren, Gary, Jason, Chasity, Dylan, BJ, Cody and Michaela; three great-grandchildren, Maggie, Alex and Eric; sister, Marvie Guffy; and a brother, Terry Turner.

Her funeral service will be 11a.m. Thursday at Ratterman Grand Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Road, with burial in Big Springs Cemetery, Bloomfield, KY. Visitation will be 2-8p.m. Wednesday.
