JONES, JOSHUA PAUL, 24, entered the loving arms of his Savior on Friday, April 11, 2014.
He was baptized at eight years old on Easter Sunday at Parkland Baptist Church, where he was active in the youth group. He attended Highview Baptist School, Price Elementary School, and Thomas Jefferson Middle School where he was honored with acceptance into the communications program. He was a 2008 graduate of The Academy For Individual Excellence where he played basketball and he attended NKU.
He was an entrepreneur, service manager at Good Year Service Center and formerly worked at Autozone. His niche was restoring Subarus, where his expertise was sought by many and most thought of him as the "Subie King." He is survived by his mother, Jan Jones Dye (Bruce); father, David Jones (Kathy); brothers, Jeremy (Autumn) and Justin (Jesica) Jones; niece, Ella Jones; and beloved girlfriend Jamie Hancock.
His funeral is noon on Good Friday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8p.m. Wednesday and noon-8p.m. Thursday.
