PENDLETON, STERLING "JOE," 74, of Louisville passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014.

He was a native of Louisville, a retired employee of General Electric, a member of St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church, and an amateur radio operator with call #K4FLP.

He is preceded in death by his son, Michael and his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Regina Sue Pendleton; children, Bob (Margaret), Debby (Grant), J. Kevin (Kim), and Mark; sister, Betty Jean (Tony) Recktenwald; brother, Wayne (Mary Therese); three granddaughters; four great grandchildren; and his best friend, Jerry.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Louis Bertrand, 1104 S. 6th St., with burial to follow in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road.
