SHARP, CHARLES LOWRY, 86, of Louisville, died April 27, 2014 in the arms of his wife, Barbara, whom he was married to for 61 plus years.

Mr. Sharp was born June 16, 1927 to Alfred and Mary Newman Sharp in Logansport, IN.

Charles had served in the United States Army worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad and Simpson Lumber Company. He was a member of St. Stephen Martyr Catholic Church. He was predeceased by his brother, Frank Sharp and sister, Mary Jenkins, both of Logansport; and a son, Jeff, of Louisville.

He is survived by his wife of 61 plus years, Barbara Schoenradt Sharp; three sons, Ronald, Perry (Mary Catherine) and Robert Sharp; two daughters, Bridget and Patricia Sharp; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren whom he loved very much. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews whom he also loved.

The funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday, at St. Stephen Martyr Catholic Church, 2931 Pindell Avenue at Hess Lane. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison Avenue at Barret Avenue.
