NEW ALBANY - Hosier, Jeanette L. "Mickey," 77, died Friday, May 9, 2014 at Wedgewood Nursing Home in Clarksville, IN.

She was born November 20, 1936 in Clark County to the late John and Jean (Bettag) Dailey. She is also preceded in death by her husband, John P. Hosier, sister, Joan Barbara Miller, and brother, Jerry Richard Dailey.

She was a New Albany High School graduate and took computer and business courses later in her life. She retired from Life Span Resources, owned Micks Quicknit, and was former owner operator of Four Seasons Grocery and Bait Shop. She was also a member of First Community Church of God in Georgetown. She was a loving and dedicated mother.

Survivors include children, Edward Ham and his partner Pam, Paula Clapp and her husband Ronnie, Shelly Akers and her husband Larry and Regina May Oldham; siblings, Judy Voignier and her husband Charles, James Michael Dailey, Jon Dailey and his wife Julie, Jackie Glassman and her husband Mike and Jeanine Ettel and her partner Frank Burks; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Monday and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at Kraft Funeral Service, 708 E. Spring St., New Albany. Her funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel with burial to follow in Tunnel Hill Cemetery.
