LAUDER, MARY "BOOTSIE" ZETTEL, 86, passed away peacefully at her home Sunday, May 11, 2014.

Born September 14, 1927 in Louisville to Vera and Al Zettel, she was schooled at St. Louis Bertrand, Holy Rosary and Spencerian College. In 1948, she married Earl Lauder and together they had eight children. She retired from BellSouth/AT&T.

Her passion was her family. And her family adored her. She is survived by her sister, Doris Gribbins Summers; her children: Rick Lauder (Debbie), Larry Lauder (Karen), Bill Lauder, Nancy Lauder, Gary Lauder (Pam), Angie Nemes (Mike), Bob Lauder (Sheryl) and Patty Carlisle (Jeff Feger).

She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, Brian Lauder (Brandi), Greg Lauder (Teresa), Jeff Lauder (Shannon), Mike Lauder (Julie), Kim Grant (Kennedy), Laura Teising (Jack), Andrew Lauder, Eric Lauder, Jason Nemes (Leslie), Jaime Langdon, David Nemes, Robert Nemes, Aaron Lauder, Reagan Lauder, Matthew Carlisle and Brandon Carlisle.

She had 22 great grandchildren, plus numerous nephews and nieces from the Lauder, Gribbins, Jones, and Peterson families, whom she loved like her own children. Her surviving sisters-in-law are Edna Lauder, Norma Lauder and Marilyn Blanchard (Bill).

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 14, 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison Ave. at Barrett. Her funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 3509 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
