WEBER, CHARLES L., 78, of Okolona, returned to his Heavenly Father on May 12, 2014.

Mr. Weber was employed with Brown and Williamson for 19 years and the Jefferson County Board of Education for 15 years. Mr. Weber served three years with the Army National Guard. Mr. Weber was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Athanasius Catholic Church and St. Joseph Orphan Society.

Among those that preceded him in death include his parents, Frank and Susie Weber; wife, Amy Weber; granddaughters, Ashley and Heather Weber; brothers, Frank and Anthony Weber; and sister, Nancy Eisenbeis. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Debra Weber; sons, Charles (Susan) and Michael (Laura) Weber; step-daughter, Nancy Grimes (James); nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Rosemary Gatrost, Francell Cox and Carmel Crabtree; and a host of family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at St. Athanasius Catholic Church (5915 Outer Loop Louisville, KY, 40219) with interment in Brookland Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 1-8 p.m. and Friday from 3-8 p.m. at Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road, use John Harper entrance).
