David Paul Kuhl

KUHL, DAVID PAUL, son of William and Johanna, passed away Thursday. He was a St. Xavier graduate in 1947, Holy Trinity Elementary School, past member of Knights of Columbus, the German-American Club, owner of Acme Auto Parts, and a veteran of the United States Air Force where he was a member of Joint Task Force Seven, where he worked on Operation Castle and in connection with Atomic Energy Testing at Bikini Atol.

He is preceded in death by his sisters; L.M. "Missy" Kuhl, Martha Kuhl, Mary K. Newton, Frances Kuhl, and Johanna K. Coble.

He is survived by his brothers William Kuhl and Jim Misner, children; Paul Kuhl, Lewis Kuhl (Kathy), Matthew Kuhl, Peter Kuhl, Patrick Kuhl, and Sallie Cobb (Terrell). Grandchildren; Evan, Nicholas, Kirsten, Ellen, Jonathan, Cecilia and Logan. And plenty on nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian burial will 9:30 am Monday at St. Louis Bertrand 1104 S. 6th St. with burial in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Rd. in St. Matthews.
