KIRKPATRICK, CLARENCE LEO JR., 81, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 at The Robley Rex VA Medical Center.

Born in Louisville, he was a retired Truck Driver for the Teamsters Local 89, Army veteran and Navy veteran during the Korean War, a member of Highland Park Masonic Lodge #865, the Scottish Rite, Kosair Shrine, where he was a member of the Motor Corps and was a Catholic by faith.

Preceded in death by his wife, Julia; and son, Charles.

He is survived by his children, Steve Kirkpatrick (Lisa), Laura Kirkpatrick Peden (Stan), Mike Kirkpatrick (Robin), Allen Kirkpatrick (Sharon), and Aline Kirkpatrick; sister, Elaine Kelly; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from noon-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
