LAWLESS, JACK KENNY, 72, of Shepherdsville, was born March 30, 1942 to the late Forest and Jewel Loy Lawless in Jamestown, KY.

Mr. Lawless was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired teacher for Bullitt County Technology Center.

Among those who preceded him in death include his sister, Betty June Carnes (Franklin); and his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Wanda Edwards Lawless; daughters, Stephanie Melder (Mark) and Dawna Miller (Kevin); son, Jack Scott Lawless; sisters, Janet Polston, Jerry Moore (Bobby) Gladys Clonch (Ken) and Debbie Jo Wade; brother, Jimmy Lawless (Laverne); grandchildren, Lynsey and Lauren Lawless, Ava and Ella Miller; a host of other family and friends.

Memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Highway at Brooks Road, use John Harper entrance) where friends may pay their respects from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
