CURRAN, OLIVIA POHL, 104, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 7, 2014 after living a very full life. Olivia was known for: allegiance to her family, hosting every family event from birthdays to holidays, being a marvelous cook and baker, having a beautiful smile, never missing an event, always ready to provide advice, being such an inspiration to the rest of us.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Arch J. Curran; a daughter, Joyce Curran Tucker; a son, Bruce L. Curran; and grandchildren, Laura Tucker Ellis, Christopher A. Curran; and 10 siblings.

She is survived by a son, Roger J. Curran, son-in-law, Joseph Tucker; grandchildren, Janet Meyer (Jim), Patrick Curran (Maureen), Leslie Curran Hagan (John), Alex Curran, Celeste Tucker Worth (Chris); great-grandchildren, Justin and Jordan Meyer, Sasha Curran, Sean Curran, Sophia & Laura Worth, Nicholas, Matthew, Tucker and Jack Ellis; grandson-in-law, Jeff Ellis; granddaughter-in-law Patty Curran; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Olivia's funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Church of the Holy Spirit, 3345 Lexington Road with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ratterman funeral home, 3711 Lexington Road "in St. Matthews." Memorial gifts in Olivia's memory may be made to the Boys and Girls Haven or The Society of St. Vincent DePaul.
