THOMAS, DAVID GORDON, 69, went home to his Lord Wednesday June 11, 2014 at his residence.

He was born in Hodgenville, KY to Marvin E. and Pearl (Allen) Thomas.
David was the retired meat manager for the Taylor Blvd Pic-Pac market, with 28 years service.
He was a member of Garrs Lane United Methodist Church and was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dwayne; and a granddaughter, Michelle Peterson.
Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Barbara A. (Crutcher) Thomas; his sons, Barry, Terry (Jill) and Jeff Thomas; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Melvin (Irene), John (Sue) and Ernie Thomas; several nieces and nephews and extended family.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Glendale Christian Church Cemetery, Glendale, KY. Visitation will be Friday 2-8 p.m.
