DANIEL, WILLIAM L., 75 of Louisville passed away Monday June 30, 2014.

He was a very active member of St. Mark United Methodist Church, was a longtime volunteer for the Kentucky Derby Festival Pegasus Parade and was a US Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his brother James Guy Daniel Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary Dick Daniel; son, Bill Daniel (Karen); sister, Mary Tippett "Tippie" Goodson; grandchildren, Andrew and Katie and many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Daniel's funeral service will be Friday, 11a.m. at St. Mark United Methodist Church 4611 Lowe Road, with burial to follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8p.m. at Ratterman Funeral Home 12900 Shelbyville Road, East Louisville and Friday, 10:30 to 11a.m. at the church.

Donations in his name may go to Kentucky Mountain Mission in care of St. Mark United Methodist Church.
