STANFORD, RHONDA ANN CALLOWAY, 51 of Elkridge, MD, made her heavenly transition early Sunday morning, June 22, 2014 at home after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was a 1980 graduate of Manual/Youth Performing Arts High School and attended Tennessee State University. She appeared in a variety of theatrical productions including; Pearlie, The Mad Woman Of Chilot, The King and I and The Curious Savage. She also served as an on-air radio personality, "Miss Ebony Sunshine" for WLOU & WDGS radio stations.

While living in Maryland, she worked for Northwest and America West airlines.

Rhonda was a contributing author of the book, "Tears to Triumph: Women Learn to Live, Love and Thrive" from "A Souls of My Sisters" book series.

Survivors are her husband, Ronald Stanford; son, Brent Stanford; daughter, Jordan Stanford; their family dog, Leo; her mother, Hazel Calloway; brothers, Mark, the Rev. Clay and Charles Calloway and Mother-in-law, Mae Stanford.

Visitation: Saturday from 10am - noon with funeral service following at St. Stephen Church, 1018 S. 15th Street. Burial is in Green Meadows Cemetery. G. C. Williams Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
