Wimsatt, Hazel Ruth Cannon,

91, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2014.

She was born in Breckenridge County, and was a member of Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church at Falls of Rough, KY.

Preceding her in death were her parents, John and Cordie Carter Cannon, her husband, Charles Leonard Wimsatt and two daughters, Judy Lewis and Carol Seigle.

She is survived by her children, Monica Woford (Albert), Madonna Farris, Diane Stephens and Wayne Wimsatt (Robin); a sister, Doris Reynolds; 9 grandchildren, Chad and David Wayne Woford, Jessica Barker, Bradley Farris, Dale and Stevie Lewis, John Seigle, Melissa Madrad and Dawn Fowler-Ogle; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held noon Saturday at Ratterman and Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road, with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Friday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the or .
