Smith, William T. "Bill",
52, of Louisville passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2014.
He had a passion for anything with an engine. Bill grew up restoring vintage cars in his father's shop where he honed his skills. In his spare time Bill enjoyed outdoor activities, time on the river, motocross, and the 1964 Corvette that he restored. He graduated from Ballard High School in 1980 and the University of Kentucky in 1984 where he was a member Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. He was an engineer with Total Filtration Services for over 20 years. He was a member at Harvey Browne Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Bill is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 25 years, Vicki A. Hundley Smith; a daughter, Savannah Mae Smith; parents, Tom R. and Mary A. Smith M.D.; a sister, Col. Laurel Smith Stocks APRN; father-in-law, Alfred W. Hundley; mother-in-law, Martha Jane Holloway Hundley; and many close and loving friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday July 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Harvey Browne Memorial Presbyterian Church, 311 Browns Lane, St. Matthews, KY 40207. Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Church.
