Adams, James T.,
83, husband to Wanda Wells Adams, passed away at the Masonic Home on Sunday July 20, 2014.
He was born to the late Leonard and Frances Smith Adams in Jhent, KY, on March 13, 1931.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters.
James was a retired mechanic for Naval Ordnance, an Air Force Veteran, a member of Parkwood Baptist Church and a member of Masonic Lodge # 740.
Besides his wife of 53 years, he survived by their children Sherry Hawkins (Wendell), and Keith Adams (Pam Sheehan) along with five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He will also be missed by siblings, Rose Landon, Martha Wilson, Art (Mary), Jay, Lester (Janet), Ed (Loretta) and Leonard (Midge) Adams.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 12 p.m. at Louisville Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 4400 Dixie Highway. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
