McIntire, Thomas C.,

85, of Louisville, passed away Monday, July 28, 2014 at Baptist Health.

A native of Louisville, he was born to the late Thomas L. and Nell Hayden McIntire. Tom was retired from Ford Motor Company where he had 25 years of service; was a member of St. Martha Catholic Church; a member of Woodhaven Country Club for 40 years; a member of Forest Lakes Country Club in Sarasota, FL; and was a St. Xavier High School graduate, class of 1947. He was also a U. S. Army veteran.

Preceding him in death was a son, Patrick McIntire; and a sister, Lena Murrow.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Martha McCloskey McIntire; sons, Bob McIntire (Gayle) and Mike McIntire (Janie); grandchildren, Michael, Katy, Sarah and Emily; and his great grandchildren, Warren and Jordan.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 A.M. Friday, August 1, 2014 at St. Martha Catholic Church, 2825 Klondike Lane, with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 - 8 P.M. Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road, where a prayer service will be held at 4 P.M. Thursday.
