Breedlove, Robert Allen Sr.,

87 of Louisville passed away on August 15, 2014.

He retired from Ford Motor Company after 31 years of service where he served as UAW Building Chairman. He is a Marine who served in World War II. He was an avid softball player who was inducted into the American Softball Hall of Fame, and again into the Kentucky Softball Hall of Fame.

He was a active member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church and was revered by his family.

His is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Virginia (Jenny) Breedlove, his three sons, Robert II, Jerry (Billie Jo) and Marty; five grandchildren, Robert III (Laura), Bridgette, Jennifer, Michael and Daniel; and 11 great grandchildren.

A Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 10 AM at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 5505 Bardstown Road in Fern Creek with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 PM on Tuesday at Bosse Funeral Home, 1355 Ellison at Barret avenues.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
