Shepherd, Willodean,

85, of Louisville passed away on August 18, 2014 at Baptist Health.

She was a native of Russell Springs, Kentucky. Willodean loved working puzzles, collecting shoes and hanging with the beauty shop girls. She was a member of Clifton Heights Christian Church.

Willodean was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dresden Conway Shepherd; 2 children, Cynthia Taxes and special son, Butch Taxes; grandson, Donovan; great-grandson, William along with 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

Survivors include daughter, Patricia Cross (Rick); son, Sam Shepherd; 2 sisters, Velma Flatt and Orpha Foley; 5 grandchildren, Michelle Clothier (Jim), Brent Kenworthy (Amy), Sheldon Taxes, Jeremy Cross (Misty), Kelly Bowie (Mark) and 15 great-grandchildren along with two very special friends, Peggy and Sharon.

Her funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 10:00am, August 23, 2014 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Avenue. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8:00pm at the funeral home. Graveside services will be conducted on Saturday at 12:30pm CDT at Tarter Cemetery in Adair County.

Memorial gifts may be made to Clifton Heights Christian Church.
