Ray, Robert D. "Bob",

84, of Barnum, MN, formerly of Louisville, passed away Friday, August 22, 2014 at his home.

He was born May 1, 1930 in Chicago, IL to Delbert and Clara (Strong) Ray. Robert was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was united in marriage to Sharon Jo Saylor on February 9, 1952 in Duluth. Bob was an electrician for the City of Louisville and a member of IBEW Local #369 of Louisville. He enjoyed fishing, bingo, karaoke, collecting coins, baking, sharing recipes and meeting new people.

Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Jo Ray; his parents.

Bob is survived by two sons, Robert Ray of Barnum, and John (Therese Bourdage) Ray of Barnum; daughter, Michele (Timmy) Downs of Louisville; grandchildren, Rob Ray, Joe Dowell, Chris Burdick, Sharon Stone and Nicole Wilson; great grandchildren, Katelyn and Riley Dowell, Eric, Dylan, Conner and Jaina Ray, Stephanie and DJ Greenwell and Nathan Campbell; 1 brother, Jerry (Reiko) Ray of Marion, TX; companion, Anita Brown of Louisville, KY and a host of nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 am at W.G. Hardy Funeral Home and Cremation Service, followed by burial at Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 pm Friday and after 9:00 Saturday until time of service.
