Pinaire, Frances Joan,

89, of Corydon, died Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at her home in Corydon.

She was born August 24, 1925, in Corydon, to the late Albert Guy and Daisy Taylor Stover. She was retired from Burroughs (Unisys) Computer Company and WHAS Radio and was also a member of Old Capital United Methodist Church and Parish Visitors at her church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, William A. Stover; and her sister, Jacie Whitmore.

Survivors include her husband, Verne Davis Pinaire; her daughters, Julia Ann Reed of Austin, TX, and Barbara Jean Pinaire Lough of Edina, MN; her sister, Jean Herman, of Indianapolis, IN; and three grandchildren, Bobbie Ragsdale, Erin Lough, and Trevelyn Lough.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor Andy Hanson will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon. Visitation will be from 3- 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and after 11 a.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Old Capital United Methodist Church.
