Lucas, Randall Wayne,

age 53, of Columbus, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014 after a valiant battle with cancer.

Born Dec. 5, 1960, he was a graduate of Brookhaven High School, class of 1978. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, NASCAR and playing poker in the neighborhood with friends.

He worked at Buckeye Nissan as an auto body tech., he was very good at his trade and really enjoyed his friends there and his special friend and boss, Joe, who has been a real help at this difficult time.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Ricky, who was born 3/9/1960 and died 8/10/2014 just prior to Randy, and by his step-father, William R. Filby.

He is survived by son, Ryan Lucas; mother, June Filby; and sisters, Debbie Lucas and Karen Lucas of Louisville, KY.

Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St. Westerville. Graveside service Wednesday 10 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E. Broad St. Columbus.
