Seth Firkins Obituary
passed way in Atlanta, GA on September 23, 2017 at the age of 36.
Seth was born in Louisville, KY on August 5, 1981 to Harriet Frankel Firkins and Robert D. Firkins. He was an accomplished music engineer, credited to over 2.5 million records sold worldwide and was a two-time Grammy nominee. Seth had a huge personality, and an equally huge capacity for love - for his family, his friends, and his art.
Seth was preceded in death by his father, Robert. He is survived by his fiancée, Kenidy Jackson, his mother, Harriet Firkins, his twin sister, Rachel Firkins (Eli Keel), his 'baby' sister, Becca Ratliff (Jeremy Baker), his aunt, Anita Frankel, and many loving cousins and friends.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 29th at Keneseth Israel Cemetery, 2800 Preston Highway. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to AMPED Louisville, 4425 Greenwood Avenue, Louisville, KY 40211, ampedlouisville.org.

Seth was so good natured. He was always laughing and had a smile for everyone. So sad that he was so young, but he accomplised so much in his short life.

I was so saddened to hear just last night of Seth's passing. My heart goes out to Harriet, Rachel and Rebekah and all of his friends and family. What an amazing human being he was!!

Dear Firkins Family and Kenidy. Seth was strong and full of compassion for everyone. He radiated love. He told me he how much he loved his family and his eyes just shown with love. Seth, You my sweet friend were more than my best friend. From Kindergarten on, we were inseparable. The best years of my life were spent with you. Unknown to me at the time, they were the good old days in the making and I cherish every single day that I spent with you. There are no words that could ever describe how much you meant and still mean to me. The memories that we shared, the stupid things that we did, I hold deeply in my heart.
