Born January 5, 1950, in Los Angeles, CA, she was a long-time Louisville area resident where she worked as the International shipping manager for Winston Industries.
She will be especially remembered for her generous spirit, boisterous laugh and keen sense of style.
Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Jim Bindyke; mother, Davy Dabney; daughter, Carolyn Lewis; son, M.J. VanWyk; two stepdaughters, Marci Marsh and Michelle Schroeder; sister, Toni Wait; brother, Steve Dabney; nephew, Steven; and six grandchildren, Alyssa, Katie, Brennan, Kathryn, Peter and Madysen.
A gathering for family and friends will begin at 3 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 14, 2010 at Springdale Presbyterian Church, 7812 Brownsboro Road, Louisville, KY.
