SCHOENLAUB, CHARLES OSCAR "BUD," 70, of Louisville, passed away February 23, 2011.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Anna Coke of Orange Park, FL.
He is survived by his beautiful wife of 47 years, Mary Patricia Paxton Schoenlaub; one sister, Linda Wermuth of Orange Park, FL; four children, Debbie Pennebaker (John), John Schoenlaub (Patricia), Annette Schoenlaub and Robert Schoenlaub (Wendy); six grandchildren, Justin, Stephanie, Victoria, Carissa, Kelsey and Alexis; and one great-grandchild, Isaiah.
He will be remembered as a veteran, a strong family man, an instigator of trouble, an outdoorsman and an outspoken union member of Local 181 Operating Engineers. He held his family, friends, country and union brothers dear to his heart.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd.), with burial in the Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1-8 p.m. at Schoppenhorst.
