YUHR, IMELDA, 100, of Louisville and Gallatin, TN, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012, at Gallatin Healthcare.

She was the daughter of the late Dr. Henry Rapp and Amolia Boegi Rapp. She graduated from Presentation Academy and Nazareth College (Spalding University) and was a translator for the Printing House for the Blind and later in life, became the first woman faculty member at St. Xavier High School. She was also a Kentucky Colonel and longtime member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, James Yuhr, and sisters, Beatrice Krebs Millet, Constance Oberst, Angela Mobery, and Sr. Mary Uriel S.C.N.
She is survived by her children, Paula Lincoln (Walt), Camille Daffron (Bill), James Michael Yuhr, and Marie Kimball (Tom); sixteen grandchildren, W.E. "Rocky" Lincoln III (Brita), Andrew Lincoln, Laura Summers (Harvey), William Daffon III (Monika), James Yuhr Daffon (Susan), Susan Grant (Paul), Cathy Scott (Tony), Edward Daffrom, Thomas Daffon (Rebecca), Mark Daffon, Stephen Daffon, David Kimball, Monica Kimball, John Kimball, Joseph Kimball, and Mary Kimball; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Church of the Holy Spirit, 3345 Lexington Road with burial in St. Louis Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 2-8 p.m. Friday at Ratterman's, 3711 Lexington Road.
Memorial gifts in Imelda's memory may be made to the Sisters of Charity of Narazeth.
